Falling Alpaca Grounds Hyundai Elantra in Celina 52 Parking Lot

CROSSVILLE, TN – September 13, 2025 – Patrons at the Celina 52 Truck Stop were treated to a bizarre and disruptive spectacle this morning when a single alpaca fell from the sky, directly striking and penetrating a parked Hyundai Elantra.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 AM. Employees reported hearing a dull, fleshy thud followed by the sound of shattering glass. Upon investigation, they discovered the unfortunate camelid lodged head-first through the rear windshield and trunk of the black sedan. The animal's hind legs remain dangling in the air, creating what management has officially described as an "unsightly tableau."

While the origins of the aerial alpaca are currently unknown, theories range from a botched agricultural drone experiment to a simple miscalculation by a passing cargo plane. Despite the building being fortified with dozens of security cameras, none appear to have captured the creature's initial descent.

Celina 52 management has issued a formal statement regarding the matter. "Our immediate priority is the swift removal of this visual disruption," the statement reads. "While we sympathize with the owner of the Hyundai, the aesthetic standards of our parking lot must be maintained. This is frankly not something our customers should have to look at while enjoying their roller dogs."

The owner of the affected Hyundai Elantra is being urgently requested to move their vehicle—and its unwanted passenger—to a less visible area of the property, preferably behind the dumpsters. The condition of the alpaca has not been officially determined, but it is no longer considered an active factor in the situation.
