Facility Upgrades: Restroom 'Community Engagement Holes' Unveiled at Celina 52

CROSSVILLE, TN — Management at the Celina 52 Truck Stop has completed a controversial new restroom remodeling project aimed at combating driver isolation. Dubbed "Community Engagement Holes," the crudely cut, un-sanded circular openings in the men's room stall dividers allow strangers to exchange snacks, liquids, and polite conversation while utilizing the facilities.

During a press demonstration on Tuesday, the facility’s resident Janitor showcased the proper use of the new infrastructure. Photographed mid-movement on a public toilet in torn denim jeans and a blue hoodie, the ecstatic employee was seen cheerfully accepting a warm, hand-passed corn dog through the jagged metal partition from an anonymous neighboring occupant.

"It gets incredibly lonely on the interstate, and sometimes you just want to split a battered meat product while doing your business," said 2nd shift LEAD Cashier Colby Kappleman. Kappleman stressed that the holes are strictly for community building, warning that any guest caught passing non-food items or refusing to engage in mandatory friendly banter through the aperture will be subject to a violent citizen's arrest.
