Celina 52 Observes Veterans Day, Honors JROTC Dropouts and Heavily Armed Security Guard

CROSSVILLE, TN — The Celina 52 Truck Stop paused its daily operations to observe a solemn Veterans Day tribute, honoring a highly specific subset of its staff's military and quasi-military service records.
Standing on a small strip of red carpet outside the facility's blackout windows, Security Guard Rodney Bartow anchored the ceremony. Bartow, who served two grueling tours in the Cold War, stood at the ready wearing an orange polo, tactical body armor, and a commemorative cowboy hat. He maintained a firm, trigger-disciplined grip on a heavily modified assault rifle for the duration of the photo opportunity.
Flanking the Cold War veteran were 2nd shift Lead Cashier Colby Kappleman, donning sunglasses and athletic shorts, alongside Janitor Celine, towering over the group in a maroon Volcom t-shirt and work-soiled denim. Both Kappleman and the janitor were formally recognized for surviving three arduous semesters of high school JROTC before respectively receiving dishonorable discharges from the youth extracurricular program.
"Freedom doesn't cost anything thanks to these guys," Celina 52 management noted in a brief corporate statement, thanking the trio for their continued service to both the nation and the truck stop's perimeter security.
