Celina 52 Implements New CAPTCHA Entry System to Combat In-Store Bots

CROSSVILLE, TN – September 8, 2025 – In a pioneering move to enhance store security and operational efficiency, Celina 52 Truck Stop today rolled out a mandatory CAPTCHA test for all customers seeking entry. The new policy was enacted to combat a rising number of what management refers to as "bots wandering aimlessly" within the establishment.

The system requires prospective shoppers to approach a large touchscreen mounted by the front door and prove their humanity by completing a standard image recognition puzzle. Upon successfully identifying all the squares containing trains, traffic lights, or other common objects, the door will automatically unlock.

However, the verification process does not end there. As an additional security measure, a specially trained Cashier will then shadow the customer throughout their visit. The cashier's primary objective is to monitor the patron for any "weird" or bot-like behavior, such as staring blankly at merchandise or failing to respond to social cues.

A spokesperson for Celina 52 explained the reasoning behind the initiative. "We were experiencing significant foot traffic from individuals who would enter, look confusedly at the roller grill, and then leave. This system ensures that only genuine, purchase-oriented humans are granted access to our aisles." Management advises customers to be prepared for the test and to act as normal as possible once inside.
